"STARVING HEARTS ARE MEANT TO ...... BLEED"

One of the best moments of the album!

Never got into that ETID bullshit they were doing on the previous album but this is pretty solid. I dig the cleaner, mature sound. Last track is definitely my favourite.

not heard the previous one (yet) but we had a whole debate about how much this does / doesn't sound like ETID on some of the previous pages, lol

It is occasionally reminiscent from where I'm sitting, but I also don't see that as a negative.

As soon as I hear southern pentatonic riffs with a lot of gain and some goof with a sore throat yelling over top that's all I think about

They have more in common with He is Legend than ETID.

Or we can just agree that having a southern sound with screams doesn't make you an ETID clone. These guys have so much more to them than that. It's an absurd discussion at this point and they have proven it again with this album.

ETID has a party core vibe. Where the hell can you hear that sound on these guys? Not to mention the political side of ETID which doesn't exist here. ETID is just stupid fun and agression. These guys are not like that.

ya this def doesnt have that party vibe etid has (which tbh is part of why i comfortably dig etid more than em but like diff vibes so i can get leaning more towards this)

ETID is a lot more than ‘stupid fun and aggression’, that comes across as disingenuous because you have a bee in you bonnet about the fact the comparison exists

I think I've heard maybe 3 ETID songs in my life, so forgive my ignorance

jfc, can we stop with the etid comparisons already

this sounds similar to etid in the same kind of way it bears resemblance to fucking botch or fear before

Depends on the album Demon, but yes you're right. I was being reductionist just to prove a point. I am fine with comparison by the way. Of course there are several similarities between southern core bands. Calling it an ETID clone also seems desingenuous.

This doesn't even sound very southern-y though

By the way guys Nekrogoblikon rules and I am disappointed with Sput for not pushing that shit. Had to find it on my own.
