Nightowl/hawks are a one off set of headphones from Audioquest. Most comfy pair I've ever had, it's like wearing clouds on the ears.

probably agreed with norma tbh re. eva over sparser instrumentation apart from this has never actively bothered me
the rolo tomassi wiki page reads Her singing voice is in a soprano vocal range and has been compared to the stylings of Alison Goldfrapp of Goldfrapp and Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins.[62][63], and like, that would be nice?? but we're like 2-3 tiers away from that here

Have listened to this 8 times now, always in pairs. Every time I finish the first spin I immediately start it again. I don't feel like I'm missing anything sonically at this point but I swear it hits just a little bit different every time. Some vodooo witchfuckery going on here…

Her cleans are fab. It's her harsh vox I struggle with.

What's wrong with her harsh vox? She's literally one of the few female screamers that I like.

It's not really her in particular, more the general style. Sounds like a blend of metalcore and black metal harsh vox. Neither of which I like.

I love both of those, guess that's why i love her haha

'Sounds like a blend of metalcore and black metal harsh vox'
This is definitely a good thing.
I'm edging towards finally dropping a score, it's floating between two points currently and I don't wanna mess this up. It's not like you can change it afterwards.

This does not grab me emotionally as Time Will Die did. A good record but not close to the predecessor.
