"I didn't realize more CDs became available...might order one now."
...nor did i. where is it available? i'm concerned now that the label have pressed more without permission. wouldn't be the first time.

I got the limited DigiCD with the 8 pg booklet (1 remaining) but it looks like there's also the regular CD variation for sale as well.

damn, us plebs be out here begging labels to print our stuff
killing it bro
|

yeah that's the label, uhh, i'll ask them what's going on. tbh they were kinda sketch throughout this whole thing, which is why i told them to fuck off. they were charging scalper prices for the digipack (still are) due to the success of the record. he told me it was the best selling album that year which is super cool but i don't want that to encourage behaviour of ripping people off.
still, thank you for the support sowing ♥

soooooooo… fuck northern silence then. Seems like another earache records situation

i asked them to stop pressing shit, they haven't. there's no contract so legally they can't. doesn't stop them cashing in on my shit though. siiigh.
without going into detail northern silence totally screwed all my plans for this release. there's a reason they aren't doing the LPs haha. they offered

What, the digipak is the price of a double LP? NSP be cunting
|

"What, the digipak is the price of a double LP? NSP be cunting "
legit - and they only did this *after* the record was a critical success. it was 13 euros originally and they basically doubled it.
i was not complicit in this at all, had no idea until a fan told me. was one (of the many) reasons i told them to fuck off. but because of them printing cassettes without telling me (was only aware of that boxset thing), i'm struggling to find another label to press the CDs because labels generally want an all-format deal.
extremely frustrating and one of the reasons i ended up splitting up - they exhausted me so much emotionally and it was deflating seeing what was essentially my life's work be exploited. i know there is a bit of naivety in that - a label will always try and profit, that makes sense - but their attitude was awful.
that said, i'm kinda glad that my new record is.. likely something they wouldn't be interested in. it's not atmospheric black metal. tbh, it's not really black metal. i'm very excited about it.

I'm sorry to hear that DarkNoctus. I'm hoping that despite the price gouging, the same percentage of the profits still go to you. If not, I'd be happy to make a donation or purchase additional merchandise that helps you directly.

man, it's endless. Napalm sucks, Metal Blade sucks, Earache sucks, and now Northern Silence sucks. the bigger the label, the worse it seems to get (shocker, I know).

the vinyl is in the works, further CD editions were not allegedly authorized.
|
| |
^yes. i didn't authorise the cd repress and i'm really disappointed with its quality. vinyl is being done by another label. i'm *hoping* pre-orders go live next month or so? we've organised all the layouts/colours etc. but the plant is closed in august so we gotta wait until september to send it all through.
