Dagger/Had it All and Gigantium don't do anything for me tbh

Gigantium has one of the best solos I’ve listened lately, and as a whole I think is a pretty decent closer.

Ye Had it All feels a bit cringe to me, it's the only track that I don't enjoy in some way at this point.

Idk I thought Gigantium was a great closer. Not nearly as good as Jaguar God tho

I think Gigantium is a great closer aswell. Besides the guitar work is very reminiscent of Pelican, a band I adore. Jaguar God tho... That track is posibly Top5 Mastodon songs

Had It All sounds like an attempt at making a Metallica power ballad and it sounds just as dated and boring

I actually really enjoy "Had it All". It is a simple song, but there's nice psychedelic vibes to it. There's a lot of weight and girth to a lot of the songs on this album, so it's nice at the beginning of the second half to have a song that just sits you down and sets a vibe. It's probably Mastodon's most emotional piece next to Crack the Skye and it just feels like sitting on the hillside once your in the aftermath of some tragic event. It's simple, haunting, and beautiful.

I love Dagger. Gigantium is also great, suffers from some bad lyrics though

I could do without like the last 4 tracks probably but maybe I flamed out on it due to length

^^ Interestingly enough, it was Gobblers of Dregs that eventually made me go "goddamn what a beat of an album". But actually my first two listens of this record were not in one sitting, which helped for sure.

More Than I Could Chew makes me go from playing-air-guitar-on-top-of-a-mountain mode to a sobbing mess in the space of less than 7 minutes.

Gigantium gets better with every listen, especially the back end of it

If you don't like this album you are probably either too young or too old.

This is an hour and a half?! wtf, okay I'm diving in. I don't expect I'm going to have a high opinion at this length for a Mastodon album.

Wtf? The last section of this record is completely stellar. Opinions though…

Yeah, the last 4 songs are among the best here easily.

I'm at "Savage Lands" on my first listen and it's honestly not any better quality than the songs before it so far. Chugging along at the half way mark. This song would have to do something crazy in the last half. I just want this album to end already haha. I've had enough. I'm going to stick it through, though. I've come this far.
