I'm interested to find out when we'll reach the apogee of Billie and Taylor sad girl pop.
They're literally everywhere (esp. TS) as if channelling all the emotions young women have today in the US; it's weird and can't imagine it lasts long.
But then again, I found that some of this sad (probs calculated and shallow, yes) girly pop actually resonated with me – like indie pop (the national) just simpler and more bangery. I mean, it is what it is.
