One of my favourite albums ever. Faip De Oiad is creepily hilarious

This is actually an awesome album, but tbh it's too long for me to listen to in its entirety too much. I need to get back into it though.

I like Aenima a tiny bit more too, but this is still a classic. I think Aenima had the better songs, but this is the better album. idk if that makes sense, but it does to me. nah, doesn't make sense.

Yeah the filler on this album is actually kind of worth listening to while aenima's filler just detracts. For about 6 years I havn't been able to decide which album is better and I don't think I ever will.

I think this one just barely edges out Aenima. I’d bet I’ve listened to it over 100 times since it first came out and I’m still not tired of it.
A fucking shame they take so long between albums.

Lateralus is an excellent cd. It really shows off Tool's superb talent.

How difficult is the guitaring on this? It's a prog album, but from what i've seen it doesn't seem that techy.
It's a good album no doubt.

I agree with KILL - both this and Aenima are amazing albums, but for me Lateralus is slightly better.

Lateralus is a far better album in terms of concepts, potential and awesomeness. It shows off the real talent that Tool can put into their unique music - especially 'The Grudge'.
The Grudge performs all the types of awesomeness they can jam-pack into one song, the guitars, the drums and of course the singing. Still don't understand how a unstipulated 28 second scream is possible.
