seeing Akhyls name dropped a lot in reviews for new Hasard record. it's a baroque in decay kind of classical disso-bm with ornate orchestral touches. love 'em both personally

Damn seriously? I feel like this band would be lucky pulling 3k let alone 30. Maybe if they play with Slipknot or something that'd be feasible. I'd lowkey love to see Slipknot grab up a bunch of extreme mask bands and tour. Let's see a Slipknot, Gaerea, Mgla and Akhlys tour.

A'ight Akhlys has 3 members according to metal kingdom so 10k each gig meaning 5k an hour. Say they play 4 2 hour gigs a day they're making 40k each a day. If they were able to maintain this touring schedule 5 days a week they'd each be making 200k a week less cost for gas and hiring a roadie/merch guy presumably at 10$ an hour. At this point they're making over 10 mil each a year as long as they can maintain 4 gigs a day monday through friday including holidays. The implications for the commercial potential of nightmarish black metal are astounding

theyd prob ask less if it was a normal tour stop. i believe the 30k was for a one-off gig out of the blue meaning travel and expenses to uproot everyone for one day. still seems high. maybe justifiably so.
