I do wonder how many anti vaxers wouldn't think twice about taking various illegal substances of unknown origins. I can't speak for these guys specifically, but I've definitely seen evidence of some hypocrisy on that front. In fact you'd probably need to ditch anything potentially harmful regardless of whether it's been regulated or not... can't trust it, right?

It's a complex topic but that comparison is not good at all. I myself have never touched drugs (except sugar, alcohol (very moderately) and the legal ones (pharma pills, altough I stopped taking pills years ago), but the arguments behind this particular vaccine are varied and differ a lot depending on who you ask. Sugar and alcohol consumption for example are related to a lot of illnesses and deadly conditions that end in way more deaths than covid and I've never seen people or media panickin like now over it. I'm not a negationist in a literal sense of the word but I do have many doubts about everything that is happening in this situation. Something is fishy from the very beginning imho
