The last track is so good. Polaris knows how to end an album.

Crossfire and Dissipate are massive highlights for sure. The closer is also excellent.

yeah i think the closer is a hair less good than the one here since it ends so abruptly but other than that it absolutely beats ass

Jamie's cleans though. So prevalent on the new one and I'm all for it, he sounds fantastic.
A few weak choruses are really the only flaw I can find with the new album. Really strong release Dissipate beats ass.

Nightmare is actually a dope track the more I hear it. “Somebody kick the chair and fucking wake me up” is a hell of a mosh call.

Ye nightmare has gotten a lot better to me as well. It’s gotten stuck in my head

Album Rating: 3.5
nightmare is easily the worst song but the chorus is the only thing i dont like about it. otherwise its decent and the breakdown pattern weaving out of the triplets feels sick lol. its an acceptable enough lowlight in context but im v glad it wasnt an indicator of how this record turned out

That’s because lyrics like “we’re living in a nightmare” are cringe. Then you get used to that line and don’t care anymore.

that and the vocal melody is generic as hell lol
