They are 1-ing it because Spencer’s cleans annoy them. I’m 99% sure that’s where all the hate for this band originally came from, if we go all the way back to the beginning. But now we have people claiming there are no cool riffs, the songwriting on Reptile is weak, and a lot of other completely asinine bullshit. So fuck You Spencer. Goddammit are you talented but fuck you

The vocals are easily the best thing about this. Also how are criticisms about weak songwriting and a lack of interesting riffs asinine?

Because everything else about this warrants that. Im not gonna throw an album up to a 1.5 just for the vocalwork. If the songwritting is bad enough or the album bores me enough I see zero reason to care about vocals.
