“Lich Prince” is kinda awful.



Still don’t know how to feel about this, most of it hovers in that awkward space between being passively enjoyable and being amazing. The bookends leave the greatest impact.

As for being radio friendly, a lot of this sounds like something Coldplay could have made circa 2010 if they had decided to go a bit darker and more rock oriented after Viva La Vida; not generic radio stuff but not inconceivable that it could enjoyed by a pop audience.

I mean, I love Coldplay so I didnt mean that in any negative way. :-/ The vocal style isn’t too far off in a lot of places nor are some of the attempts at catchier choruses. I’ve seen lots of other people making the Coldplay comparison too, it’s not that out there.
