Okay...can somebody PLEASE tell me what's up with people hyping that new "Thou" through the roof and writing stuff like "incredible riffs" or "production slays" all over the place? I only got to know Heathen...its cool sludge but doesn't exactly bring the riffs. They are saying this one does. I'm waiting for the official release to check it...but they are brilliant already in creating that dark sludge ambiance and vibe and the artwork is really nice imo.

I've only checked Heathen as well & although I enjoyed it, the lofty praise Thou gets is slightly confusing to me, based on that particular album anyway.

Tbh I kinda am. Since the race between Rolo Tomassi and Night Verses is so much fun (and I love both albums), I check the charts on a regular basis. Now "Thou" plopped out of fucking nowhere with that insane rating and I gave it a try...and it somehow still bothers me. Don't know why

Well the other "Thou" albums also have a good score and many people hype this one as their best. However I will only vote albums I've listened to in entirety (which explains why my ratings are pretty in general)...since I can't endure that with music I don't like, I won't rate it
