It’s kinda neat that they decided to release this in two parts but they kinda just sound like... 2 halves of one album. Like they’re hardly worthy of being the stand alone projects they’re being presented as. This is especially the case with II. I think both parts together howver makes one of BTBAM’s better releases

it'd make more sense if both halves were typical BTBAM length but yeah it's literally just one regular album split in two. feels like a cheap marketing gimmick to milk their fans.



anyway i'll prolly listen to part 2 but based on this i'm not expecting it to be very good

i'm three minutes into A2 and i already hate it jfc

I really can't tell if I'm just not as into prog metal as I used to be, or if the band's just not as good as they used to be. I stopped listening to A2 half way because it was so boring. It's all just wank to me

I think I liked this one more even though I haven't listened in a while. 2 had a lot of great elements but I don't think it all came together as well as it could have. The beginning of Voice of Trespass was incredibly fun and The Grid was actually really beautiful throughout but it could have reached a much higher peak. now to listen to them back to back to see how I feel overall.
