Fair enough oni. All I can offer as a rebuttal is that I enjoyed it. Maybe it’s just because I can’t even think of the last time I listened to anything politically charged, at least to a point where I read the lyrics/have them mostly ingrained in my head, so something so blunt, to me, was just like “fuck yeah man you GET IT”.

I’m 21 so I’m a little at the young end but lines like the “need health insurance but can’t pay rent” has listerally been my life the last few years. That and my parents have struggled a lot with a lot of the stuff mentioned here (mom is currently 38) and in turn they’ve bitched to me a lot about it. So it all hits home for me.

Individual mandate on health insurance will finally be gone in 2019, so it won’t be as big of a deal then, but marketplace rates have been absurd the last two years for something that was LEGALLY REQUIRED. But yeah haha

I’ve yet to give a band more than one 5. Waiting to see who breaks that mold. These guys almost did with Renacer and Still Searching, but alas. Iron Maiden also almost did with Somewhere in Time and Powerslave. (For both bands the latter album is the one I decided not to 5)
