St-Anger and Invisible Kid are way too repetitive though.St-Anger and Invisible Kid are way too repetitive though.St-Anger and Invisible Kid are way too repetitive though.St-Anger and Invisible Kid are way too repetitive though. It's the basic "cut-and-paste" program used to produce the album. It's mostly responsible for the record's choppy, repetitive production.

They actually used cut and paste? I find that hard to believe. Also, the guy in your picture looks stoned.

THey should have cut instead of copied. Or solo. The closest thing to a solo on here is the outro to SkoM.

My sentiments also.

Also, the guy in your picture looks stoned.

You suck. As does your overwhelming argument.

I must say yours is coming along quite nicely as well, but he is right. Metallica does suck, with there riffs all sounding the same, mediocre bass (though hailed by every Metallica fanboy), pathetic drumming, horrible vocals, and that they feel that terrible producing is a must have on every album.

Riffs only sound the same to the untrained ear. The vocals suck on the last 3 albums, but were kickass before that. The dumming is the exact opposite.

Steve Harris, Ryan Martinie, Justin Chancellor, John Myung, Les Claypool and oh so many others are 10x better than him.

Nope, they just all have open E chugging with a few notes put in, but they are really hard to decipher thanks to their love of crap production. The vocals have and always will suck, James has a crappy voice, and Lars, well lets put it this way. What you get when you don't improve at all and can barely (and half the time can't keep it live) stay in time, you could drum for Metallica, and noone would notice.

Granted, during songs, guys like Steve Harris (who I ranked higher than Cliff because of this on one of my lists) were able to throw in great variations, while Cliff just kinda followed along.

However, his bass solo...incredible...their live video of 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'...incredible.

EDIT: K, that link doesn't work. But he freelances and branches off during the intro and completely shreds. It's amazing. This Message Edited On 07.15.06
