Weed is weird af for me. I used to love it, but sometimes it randomly triggers anxiety and gets me locked in my head. I also find shit like gaming difficult because my short-term memory and focus are shit.



Other times weed is great. I've tried different strains obviously, and different ratios of THC:CBD, but it seems totally random. I get drug tested every other month for being on Suboxone anyway, so I guess it's for the best lol.

Yeah, I've been smoking a lot lately but it definitely gives me anxiety sometimes. There's even been a few times where I felt on the cusp of a panic attack

Shit I've had it trigger panic attacks lol. I actually have panic disorder though, although it started after PTSD years back.



That stuff has been in remission for a long time though, but I still take Klonopin. Weed just happens to be the one thing that can trigger that kind of anxiety for me. But apparently it's not all that uncommon, even for people who don't have existing problems.



But I feel like even when it makes me feel good, it still fucks with my memory and makes it harder to focus. Kinda makes me just not want to do anything tbf lol

Yeah it seems to be highly individual. I know a lot of people who smoke because it helps with anxiety, but I know just as many who quit after years because it started giving them bad anxiety every time they smoked. Obviously, I'm in the latter group, although I haven't actually quit for good, just taking a long break.

The latter version is literally me hexfix... just can't do it anymore, the anxiety gets too overwhelming nowadays. It's a shame because I'd love to enjoy it again and just jam some music and chill but it's not worth it. Haven't done it for a lot of years now.
