all this talk about songs off this or is survived by being their best when the great repetition exists is making me a little ill

Parting the Sea is incredibly underrated for sure.

Probably my all time favourite hardcore band though, so all of their albums are easy 5s

They were so good at Slam Dunk on Sunday. Was right by the barrier for their set, and near the end of Honest Sleep, Jeremy climbed on the barrier right by where I was so I had to support his leg in order to make sure he didn't fall off. Was awesome, though, although they only played one song off of Dead Horse since they're going to play it in full in October when they come over here with Deafheaven and Portrayal of Guilt.

This is so damn good. I can’t get into other stuff by this band for whatever reason, but this is an emotional gut punch every time I listen to it in the best way possible.

I feel their follow-up to this is gonna be their best yet. They are catching their stride pretty hard at the moment.

“Just a simple conversation about nothing much at all couldn’t keep me in the room, I just kept walking down the hall. But now I understand just what a fool I’d been. No matter what the context I won’t have the time again, and I live with that.”

Ingrained in my memory. My grandmother passed away from cancer five years ago this month. Perfect album from an amazing band. I can’t begin to describe how much I love this record.

Has it already been 3 years since they released this album? Time flies.

A fantastic but heartbreaking album.

idk why it didnt occur to me by the album title that this is about jeremy's mother's battle with cancer, but it just hit me like a freight train cuz i lost my dad to it a little over two years ago and now i cant stop listening. goddamn, my dudes. this band is so insanely good.

My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 3 two years ago but thankfully she's doing well. Far as we know, she's cancer free but during that time, this album hit hard.

Yeah, that was a dark timeline in my family as a lot of shit was going on for all of us. Thankfully, it's been much better since and she's doing great.
