You need new ears Boney. I'd be curious which songs but it's all superb so doesn't really matter.

The songs were No One Knows and Go With the Flow

For context I listened because I checked out that new Elder album and was digging it so I looked up some other "stoner rock" to try and this came up

A couple of Nick's songs are weak. But the amount of class here more than makes up for it

fwiw that analogy wasn't so much describing the sound of what I heard but rather the vibe I got from it if that makes any sense

Love the album, and there's nary a weak song on it, but it's their most meat-headed, jockstrap release, which at times turns me off from listening to it whole.. lanegan's cameos are all golden..

Lanegan's never been on a sub-superb queens song, save for the lullabies intro

was never better than In the Fade though..

again, I love this album, but it's least overall artful effort, to put a fruity spin on it..

Boney should start with Kyuss 'Sky Valley' and bust his cherry proper tbh tbh

I think once you realise Josh and Nick can rock like desert hogs but are choosing to make a fake bastardised radio rock album with lots of guitar pop songs on it then it'll make more sense.

Kyuss then Queens.

There is about a 0% chance of Boney actually liking Kyuss tho. I'd say start with ...Like Clockwork, then maybe this and Rated R
