I would agree with that order except for the last one really. Like personally:

Count Your Blessings - 1.4

Suicide Season - 2.1

There Is a Hell... - 1.9

Sempiternal - 2.9

That's the Spirit - 2.3

Why even bother listening to that many albums by a band if youve never rated them at a 3 or higher

I used to be deep into that kind of music when I was younger so I pretty much heard every album at the time. Five years ago (or whenever There Is a Hell came out) they would have been all 4's for me, but recently (about a year ago I think) I went back to them and I absolutely hated it. The only reason I kind of like Sempiternal is that a couple of tracks were really a step up from their previous stuff (Sleepwalking was one of my favourite songs that year) so I tried this album to see if they had kept on progressing. As it happens, they did not.

Yeah not really a fan. Their last album had some ok songs but overall they seem a bit bland to me.

I quite like this. Didn't think much of it originally but it did grow on me. Doomed is the standout song on here. Last song is awful. The rest is okay/pretty good. What you Need is a good track.

Putting True Friends, Follow You and What You Need right in the middle as tracks 4-6 was such a bad idea. I like most of the album apart from that stretch of songs

True Friends and What You Need are great cuts on tbis record.

I tried hard to soak in Follow You but it's one of my least favorite

The last song sucks

The first song rules

Oh No is great. The random but fitting sax solo at the end is a nice touch

The reality is that some bands change for the better and some do not. But instead of being ignorant, simple minded music snobs, accept the fact that BMTH is one of the bands that have changed for the better. And that's just the way it is. And that's just the way it goes. Bands change, accept it. Their new album is a much better side of the band, accept it. So, have a lemonade, lay in bed and, well,
