Although I do see the criticism for this new track having a bit of a DSS vibe, I think it has character and energy; whereas the The Unraveling single has a DSS vibe, but cames out characterless and flat.

I wouldn't mind of they made another super heavy album tbh, of course without sacrificing any of their experimental side.

Time to give my 2 cents on the single since I'm back from the holiday and reply to thoughts:

- The PV is absolutely incredible, so happy they're embracing their visual side once more in the latter stages of their career.

- The song is great but is under developed. You could easily get around 5 minutes with the ideas they throw about here and the single version will only add around 15-20 seconds. Will be a nice mood changer on the album and be better in context but I hope (but probably won't happen) they extend the track to flesh it out. Gonna be very interesting how this new album pans out, ultimately this is caused more positive emotions in me than dismayed me. Plus Diru songs are always growers.

@Hellscythe: I wouldn't say regression, this has far more ideas in the track than The Inferno, Cause and Chain Repulsion for example. I just hope they don't satisfy the old school fans too much, too much Vulgar-Withering style songwriting is something I don't want.

Yea the production on the video is amazing, they went all out.

As per usual, think it'll be near impossible to tell what the album will sound like until it comes out. Arche surprised me a lot (in a good way) as did Uroboros and Dum Spiro Spero. But they've all been perfect so I have faith.

Pretty much, I will never judge Diru until they release the album and hear live footage of it.

Kyo looks like someone from Silent Hill from that clip. Between that, the 4 eyed Kyo and Demon M. Bison Kyo and he's going into the realm of expressing their music visually that I love so much. Also sup Pleb? :3

It'll probably be only be extended by 20 seconds so we've basically seen it all. I'll be buying it if the live footage from the single rules face, but I'm still waiting for the Day 2 rip of Arche at Nippon Budokan before I do anything.

eh, single sounds like something they put together in a couple days. Not much as a standalone.

not gonna lie tho, when the last chorus ends, the riff that play is dope.

In fact that whole last minute of the song is dope, the first two minutes are eh. around 1:55 of the PV the song turns dope as fuck.

They should come to FL for once. Last time they were scheduled here was around five years ago and the show was cancelled.
