SHHH don't let dev know
bout to type the first of the five reviews I got planned: Electric Wurms - Musik, Die Schwer Zu Twerk (Music That's Hard to Twerk To). Got me a nice pair of headphones for my reciever, so I'll bring out my vinyl copy of it for a few listens. Since I pre-ordered it, it even came with a flexi-disc of "Transform!!!" (Mach 2; an alternate take I suppose). I highly suggest getting it.

aight what kinda music would it be? prog, punk, jazz, what??
|
| |
I have a Dinosaur Jr. shirt with that cow on it.
Also I'm never listening this album. Even the Yes fanatics seems to hate it...
|
| |
nice man, love Dino t shirts. album sucks

Well it's a Flaming Lips side-project by Wayne and Steven and some of their friends. It's kind of proggy, but not as much as the band touts it to be. It's psych-prog rock imo. It has a cover of Heart of the Sunrise and Transform!!! is a cover of a Miles Davis track apparently. Good stuff, and the vinyl is purple day-glo or some shit like that.

| |
oh yeah just remembered that, anything Flips-involved is at least intriguing

yeah, and they're doing a track on that Sgt. Pepper cover album as well.

that Sgt. Pepper cover album seems intriguing

Soft Bulletin or Clouds Taste Metallic, although keep in mind that most of their albums sound completely different
|
| |
sweet I heard a snippet of their stuff on a Vinesauce stream. Sounded pretty good
|
| |
yeah they have some really fantastic stuff, one of the most interesting discogs around imo

I would be in the minority and say Peace Sword if you're interested in their post-Yoshimi stuff, but definitely check out The Soft Bulletin (try and find the vinyl version, it has, in my opinion, the most accurate track-listing, and has the two remixes (Race/Superman) replacing the originals, the latter i'm unsure about) at the least. Probably one of the greatest albums of all-time, and probably a contender for that title as well.
|
| |
Soft Bulletin is definitely one of the best albums ever :]

i did it before i was banned. I listened to it again, and I liked "Light of the Ages" a bit, so I suppose it warranted bumping up the rating. (from a 1.2 to a 1.3. wow progress)
