Jerry Jones >>>>> Jeff Mangum
Jeff delivers more emotion but Jerry Jones it god-tier at pulling off a sinister style.

I don't like either of them. In fact, I can't stand most "whimpy white with guy acoustic guitar" music/indie in general.

I know, I was referring to them invoking the singer of Neutral Milk Hotel. (at least I think it was - unless they were referring to someone else of the same name)

It's brilliant
Despite a few lame lines this is a lyrical masterpiece, all of the connections (like the blouse), the way the story is perfectly executed, the way it takes this massive story and brings out so many underlying themes it incredible.

Absolutely. Just finished it, strong contender for AOTY. Last track was a nice surprise, but really this whole thing just felt so fresh from beginning to end.
And yeah my only criticism is that sometimes the over-the-top-ness of the album gets to it a little bit (the first time the chick took over vocals for a stanza I kind of sighed because it felt a little bit cheesy but her vocal performances later on the album more than made up for it) but overall it's top-notch.
