holograms is the best vaporwave imo, its the only one other than far side virtual that made it into actual engaging music instead of an aesthetic setpiece
sweet dig btw

whoa all of vektroid's output is worthy, just because it relies on aesthetics and mood doesn't mean it doesn't deserve credit
also internet club goes

Why the mixed opinions on this?

Album Rating: 5.0
because it's very polarizing
imagine if you've never been exposed to the concept of musical curation and recontextualizing that music, floral shoppe just seems like a lazily put-together smorgasbord of sounds
liking this record really takes an open mind
|
| |
yeah some people have a very hard time understanding that you just can't make this kind of stuff from
scratch and hope to get the same results

Don't give a shit about all this pretentious art crap that is slapped on this album when it's discussed. This is chill as fuck.

"whoa all of vektroid's output is worthy, just because it relies on aesthetics and mood doesn't mean it doesn't deserve credit" no but there are albums that do that and more, and better
aesthetic by itself is boring and gets tired quickly; mood fades; this album can definitely do more, but it doesn't
this is getting the credit it deserves: i didn't 1.0 it, most people didn't 1.0 it -- they are acknowledging this isn't even bad, let alone the worst thing in the world
EDIT: not tryin to start an argument or anything, just expressin the way i feel about this album and shit
