plain and simple, i know there is definitely a hype train following this album, but i connect with this album (and band) on a spiritual level, even the packaging and encrypted lyric gravestones of the netherrealm send shivers down my spine and give me vague flashbacks of previous incarnations

i fuckin love this band

i also really doubt that very many, if any, people on this site truly appreciate this stuff the way that i do... the visions that come into my mind are indescribable

Has Perma ascended to higher elitism? It sounds like his opinion is above us.

Also I feel like this is a 4.5 at most. Not a classic, but a modern triumph.

I don't know quish. It sounds like he thinks he is exclusively holding any real form of affection for the album, and everyone else is just hyped up for now. Claiming to own an album's essensce seems pretty elitist to me.

what i meant was, from what i've seen on this site, few people seem to spiritually bond with albums, at least from what i've seen

for instance, any metalhead on the site will vouch for altars of madness and how good it is, but how many of them actually read, let alone comprehend, the lyrics? how many of them know the true depth of that album?

I'm with KILL. If I don't connect with this album on a Spirtual level do I lose the right to rate it?
