All their rap parts are a bit cringe, but I feel the absurdity of the lyrics kind of jives overall with all the other nonsensical shit they spew

It's pretty cool that they've had 3 clean vocalists, each with a different style. Makes listening to their whole discography refreshing with each album play.

This one bounces back and forth on being my favorite, but like half their discography does that. Listening to this and then going immediately into their newest one gives me whiplash. So different yet equally as amazing.

I got over Thug City and 5’d it. There’s just something about this album that’s so charming.

I think this album is DGD at their loosest and most eclectic, leading to it being a fun ride. It’s not quite my favorite, but it is their best with Craig and remains the best thing he’s ever done. The guitar is phenomenal.

'best DGD and the start of swancore for better or for worse'

this is true. the summer this came out id only recentely got into post hardcore properly and was mad into Hot Cross. someone in the comments had said they sound like dgd and people were going mental with disdain but honestly they had a point. theres a lot of guitarwork on this that heavily resembles the sort of guitar work hot cross had, but people were writing dgd off for being 'scene' which was hilariously sad
