Remember that Thrice's music covers a good amount of the musical spectrum and he accompanies his voice to fit it accordingly. I just think Corey's cleans on this remind me alot of Dustin's on Vheissu, possibly Artist In The Ambulance too but I haven't heard that whole album in a long time.

I think if I had to choose one album to sum up my musical taste right now it would be Vheissu. Such a fantastic mix of sounds.

Steaks and shakes could sustain me for sustained periods of time
My cd player has gone to shit and I don't have the guts to replace it. I'm not the most handiest of men :/

A diner type restaurant that started in Illinois and is really big in the Midwest. They finally put one down here like a year ago but I'm from Missouri so it's nowhere near as exciting to me

I wish I had steak burger places. The only place you can get one here are those casual sports bar places

Funeral Singer is the only song that has to grow on me because Corey has that whiney nasally tone on his high range half screams/clean vocals (idk how you'd call them but they sound bad to me, like the singer from Architects), that same tone that was all over Meridional/Antimother.
besides that, it's his best album vocally

That's actually one of my favorite moments on the album. I agree about the vocal thing but they don't bother me right there
