I like FNF and STD a lot, STAGD is atrocious, and TPB was okay but got boring quick. Glad they picked themselves back up like this though

Naaaa, to me things started to get good with TPB. FNF and STD were mainstream to the core. And badly written. STAGD was STD mk 2 basically

So, many months later, is it safe to call this album Soilwork's best all-around release?

This is still rather bad and Soilwork is still annoying. This does objectively deserve a 4 for the effort, though. If I gave this a 3, I'd have to give all their other albums like 1,5.

objetively, this is a 4

I still Like Chainheart Machine more than this. But this is almost as good as A Predator's Portrait, almost.

XfingTheSullen, cmon man you change your mind like...every month, this is not a bad album.

Great comeback for the band, thats undeniable.

I'm still not sure what I think about this album. Sure it was shockingly good for Soilwork at the beginning, but then all the excitement subsided... it's ok I guess.

I think it wasn't, but it was much better than the three that preceded it. It was the start of an upward slope for the band, and this album goes further that way. Even though their sellout phase is over, I don't think they'll be able to put out something excessively good after this album

why not? the new guitar players are great, dirk is great...thats a solid combo, I think they can release something really good next time.
