bass volume being down is just part of thrash

having a non existent bass without any significance for the sound of the music at all is not a part of music whatsoever

(love the album just saying)

it's like the difference between megadeth and metallica

both thrash but megadeth includes bass better

"both thrash but megadeth includes bass better"

which is kind of embarrassing and unfortunate because 'Tallica had always the best bass players.

Yeah, but Jason was also a great addition. I'm not sure if the fans ever evaluate what a great asset he was for Metallica. And I'm definitely sure that James and Lars never valued him as much as they should.

Metallica has always been bad with the bass mix; the only albums I think they got it consistently right are Mop and St Anger.

Still, you've got a talented musician like Newsted being wasted. AND being treated like shit.

Pretty much, listening to the bass only tracks on YouTube is pretty upsetting. You see a lot of great

talent get muted.

Fuck Yeah! Great album, too bad about Jason's bass being lost in the mix though.

I don't understand why they're remastering their first two, which are fine, but leaving this one alone.
