ive said it before and ill say it again - this album seems sort of half assed. It could potentially have been their best but it seems like the band were up against the clock recording it and settled for less than they were capable of, which is a shame because the ideas that they did lay down were great and it probably has the most palpable (and my favorite) atmosphere of all their work

Yeah, I don't mind that chorus at all. I love Chino's off-key vocals there and his generally uneasy approach throughout the album.

This album fucking rules, but I agree with the sentiment that if they had taken their time this would be contender for best deftones. If Moana had been finished and they spent more time working on the production this would be a flawless 'tones album IMO

Just watched this. Chino sounds so much better nowadays than he ever did. He was flawless this month.
