Classic album. Blackmore and Dio were an awesome combination. Rainbow was never the same after the split with Ronnie. In fact, i left the band when he did.

It's a shame they didn't release a couple of albums but Blackmore's ambition to enter the US market robbed us of that. Down To Earth is a very good album though.

But hey at least Rainbow will be back next year and from what I've checked the new vocalist's voice does have a "roaring-esque" style like Dio's, so maybe after all these years we may see good live renditions of songs from the first 3 albums
