Yeah, I definitely agree this is a solid 4 when ranking Godspeed's stuff.
I can't see someone giving LYSF or F#A# a 5, then giving this one a 5 as well.
It's better than Yanqui, but that's about it. Nowhere close to Slow Riot either.

was going to 5 based on the fact that it came out of fucking nowhere and is awesome but its just not on the level of F#A#infinity or lift your skinny fists

I honestly think discrediting two amazing songs because they have been played live before is silly.

or slow riot

Definitely agree with that, Keith. People shouldn't allow that to affect their rankings.

pretty good but not their best

This so hard. I've heard the first track live before and live recordings of the other and both versions on here slightly differ and come across even more amazing here

this is probably the easist Godspeed to get into

still immense and haunting and O_O like all their other stuff though

Just listened to it for the first time. The album is pretty good, the only thing that slightly bogs it down are the drones, although the first one holds my interest pretty well.
Listening to it for the first time on a pontoon boat was an interesting experience.

Mladic is insane. One track in and I'm in love with this album.

Something that strikes me as kind of odd though, there were no sound clips used on their last album and there were none on the live versions but now we have the whole "With his arms outstretched" thing at the start of Mladic. I think it sounds neat and fits, but it feels a little bit like it may have just been added for nostalgia value.

I love it

The sound clip really does enhance the intro.
Also, I don't think "Their Helicopters' Sing" makes any grammatical sense.

Since when has a band! that inserts random exclamations into everything made any grammatical sense anyway?
