Supposedly they simply can't find the time to keep the band going. Sucks but it's fairly understandable.

"Only band, unique style"

they are somewhat unique compositionally but the overproduced, ultra high bpm 'noodly' style is identifiable with numerous other bands. those bands are just largely one-dimensional

Nah they're not overproduced, they're clean but SoP's production has always been crisp and dynamic

Unless I'm wrong but most of my experience with the style leaves SoP's production firmly in the most listenable category

One of a few tech death bands I could listen to on audiophile grade stereo without any shame. The production on all of their albums is spot on, especially on second one. This was high tech, high quality band from every perspective.

clearly you are either unfamiliar with or completely ignoring all of the nuances that are in the music here. the band has withered away i'm sure because bryssling writes all of the music himself (apart from solos), and his compositional style is an extremely perfectionistic one. he takes a very long time to write what he deems satisfactory arrangements

i don't think you read my comment. they're a fairly unique tech death band but we aren't talking about ligeti here. relax
e; re-rated so people don't inexplicably think i'm shitting on spawn of possession

"one of the only good tech death bands" nah you just don't listen to a lot of tech death. Ad Nauseam, Inanimate Existence, !T.O.O.H.!, Anata, Decapitated, Gorod and Vuvr. MAny good bands of recent times.
