Man, Kj. That's the worst song aside from Ronnie. Don't be singing that junk.

Fuck no, Ain't My Bitch rules, man. That, Outlaw Torn, King Nothing, Bleeding Me, and Until It Sleeps are the good songs here.
Wasting My Hate, Cure, and Hero are kinda fun too.

Lol. Chill out, Captain.
@Kj: Alright. Add "The House Jack Built" and I agree with your top songs so whatever. Still though. It's the worst opening song on a Metallica album (Frantic is better, yes).

anyone ever heard the song Woodstock by Crosby, Stills and Nash?
Ronnie rips off the main riff from that song, hard. Metallica actually stole a lot of riffs from 60s/70s bands, apparently (2nd to last riff in Fade to Black = A National Acrobat by Black Sabbath is another example).

My cousin STEALED this album for me, when i was like 15 bwahahaha.
This has some semi-decent songs, but time hasnt been kind to them. Maybe for their time or the first time you listen, they are cool, but thats the problem of going mainstream, the same mainstream devours you later, and no one gives a fuck about your 15 minutes of fame anymore. And your fans just jam to your better and older times, or go to listen to something better.

"Tell me 1 metallica song that is better in their last 5 albums. With maybe the exception of Through The Never."
Actually, I like all of the non-singles on Metallica.
God That Failed, Through The Never, My Friend of Misery, Of Wolf and Man. Still though, it's a shame the original Metallica was eaten by a pack of rabid howler monkeys a few days after recording AJFA. The band that took over for them just never had that original magic :
