Shelter is their weakest but their most well-rounded at the same time. It's got an amazing flow, but at the same time it's one-sided compared to their other material. Still a great album though.

just sterile in the sense that I don't find it very emotionally evocative. maybe complacent would be a better word to describe it? idk its still a beautiful album dont get me wrong but not one I play when I'm in the mood for Alcest

Shelter is their weakest but still excellent. Some of it sounds too pop for my taste, but not a bad song on there I'd say. The guitar tone is so blissful in this really pure way. La Nuit Marche avec Moi, L'Éveil des Muses, Délivrance, and Into The Waves are my favs.
