John is legit a great drummer. The whole original band was tight as hell in the early days

Nookie’s lyrics might be cheesy, but those riffs are nothin’ to scoff at

That’s how you know you’re listening to a classic. They have killer openings that don’t overstate their welcome

For sure... I've still never gotten into Fred's lyrics, but thankfully they don't overshadow the awesome instrumental bits for me

Always funny to look at old reviews from this site and realize how bad they really were, especially track by track ones. Anyway, this album is pretty nostalgic for me since I kind of grew up with Limp Bizkit a little bit here and there. Trust? still rips too

So what rating could such an album deserve? Honestly, I couldnt live with myself if I gave it anymore than a 3, and that seems a little generous. After some minor deliberation, Ive decided to go with a

2.5/5

First impressions arent always everything. Just look at Ted Bundy.

I mean I might have to raise my rating by a great margin.

At this point in my life, I've been jamming this consistently since it came out (even if it has been for laughs or drinking games for about a decade of my life) so I feel like just out of how much this shit has added, it deserves something like a 4 for me.

This isn't Ocean Machine or The Mantle, but it's weirdly a massive part of my past several decades.

that’s what ratings are for brother. these records got me into metal before I had the internet and even if they aren’t objectively great they were certainly important for a lot of people.

This was actually a 4 when I was a teenager, but then I heard Soundgarden and Alice in Chains lyrics and Durst falls into mediocrity in some songs. Especially those that are not resentful towards his ex-girlfriend.
