Don't know why I checked this artist and this album out. Too many songs that are too predictable. They are too much of a 3 chorus junkie. The music just gives me nothing.

This was a nice record - sadly, I thought many songs were just that, "nice". Keep Yourself Warm hits like a tonne of bricks, though, and Modern Leper is also very very impactful. Those are the two obvious standouts for me. My friends have really been trying to get me into these guys and I don't think they are going to be my thing generally. I like their highlights a lot but much of it is a bit monotonous and forgettable for me (not necessarily bad, and usually quite good, but not something that pulls me in much)

I’d def keep working through the discog as TMOF is somewhat of an outlier given that the production ramps right up from TWOMD

I walked across the forth road bridge at sunset last october while listening to a bunch of their songs... they have been my favourite band for a long time so it was a really memorable (if sad) experience.
