Eh they're 3.7's for me. Both meandering and overheavy but a few amazing moments save 'em

Tbh opeth has 2 worse albums than heritage and it has the same score than watershed in my opinion, This effort rulz, specially cuz it has endless sacrifice and in the name of god

both of which have a sweet amount of cheese and metallica worship. stream is the best on here

This is far better than Deliverance. Doesn't bore me to sleep when I listen and the parts don't overstay its welcome unlike so much of Deliverance. In The Name of God and Endless Sacrifice are among their best

In the name of god and endless sacrifice are probably better than anything on deliverance

The only thing that Deliverance has over ToT is that there aren't any really shitty tracks, unlike Honor Thy Father

guys did you even listen to the right album? deliverance has a fair judgement and its title track, both of which shit on everything on this

Yeah, I listened to Deliverance. Mediocre at best and had some good ideas, but the execution was all wrong and uninspired

Deliverance is probably Opeth's worse. At least Heritage had some decent moments on it

agreed deliv is opeth's weakest but the only bad song on it is wreath. the rest is decent at worst

i hate this album. this would be like 1.5 if it wasn't for stream and the ending of in the name of god

How can you not like Endless Sacrifice? It's got some of Petrucci's most heartfelt lyrics on it, which is hardly common these days

It's just a great song with no bad parts and some actual SUBTELEY in the beginning, a first for this band lol

Yeah that's true and LaBrie doesn't wail like some kind of Disney character trying to be too epic
