When I discovered this as a wee lad I was addicted and thought it was the most aggressive shit to ever be recorded. That still stands for sic honestly. There's heavier stuff out there for sure but that track is stupid high on the aggression scale. RIP to Joey too. Dude was pretty nasty behind the kit. This and Mate Feed Kill Repeat in particular played a huge part in me discovering extreme metal. My obsession with this album at a young age led me to getting Mushroomheads- XX album due to their similarities in look and their beef with one another and the track Xeroxed from that album was my first taste of death metal and I was floored. St is one of the few albums from my childhood that I can still revisit front to back and have fun with and I think that would stand without the nostalgia even

@Kusangii: Couldn't disagree more: the majority of my top 10 metal albums were recorded before 1993. 70s, 80s and early 90s are great but so much awesome developments happened after that...

Jammed this and Iowa for the first time ever and this is definitely the stronger of the two. Eyeless alone elevates this

Purity was probably my first “favorite” Slipknot track when I discovered them in middle school. Reading about the story behind it fucked me up (even if it ended up being fictional)
