This and Conclusion are probably their best albums. This album definitely retained just enough of that intensity that Conclusion had and it really elevates the sound for me overall. If Jamie was still on the vocals here, I would probably rank this as a 5 / 5.

Listened to this again today. Honestly might have to up my rating. This one is honestly so much better than all the albums that come after. The songwriting just feels more cohesive and the songs really build toward these epic moments. Plus there's just more awesome riffs to be had.

When I was a total metal noob this was my favorite band and favorite album. Listening to this now after years of trve thrash, death, black shit I can understand the resistance to this band. With that being said, this is a great piece for what it is.
