all i'm saying is that radiohead could be making a statement about how we organize ourselves as a society, and how the word of mouth, in the internet age, is changing how we experience things. like this new radiohead album for example.

this is the most feel-good radiohead album. and probs the only one i can listen to all the way through without even one track that bothers me.

Lotus Flower is the only above-average song here.

Lotus Flower is best for me no question. I think I decided I like the first half of this better than the second... which is strange because initially I really liked the second half and didn't know what to make of the first. For some reason Codex doesn't do much for me... like the atmosphere but it just doesn't have any wow factor idk. I'd say the Codex-Give up the Ghost portion is what I enjoy the least on the album as of right now. Both songs are very pretty but neither of them progress enough to fully hold my attention. They are still very good songs though. Separator is a very strong ending.

Bets song on here has to be Lotus Flower, but Magpie is the second best IMO

This album was more of a grower than In Rainbows, but I think it's a lot better than people are making it out to be.

@ sailsaway, silentpotato, whoever disagrees

don't get me wrong, i like magpie (album rating 4.5 here mostly cause there's never a big time dip in quality throughout the album...). but until thom starts waling 'you know you should but you don't' i'm kinda bored.

aka it takes ~ 3 minutes for the song to get real interesting (to me of course). once it does it's awesome, but that's by far the longest segment on the album in which i'm bored by far.

'little by little' and 'bloom' blow it out of the water IMO and the rest are really different but more my style (esp 'give up the ghost' / 'separator')
