Got burnt to a crisp, but it was pretty fun.

Was telling Jim, I ran into a certain lanky man some know as 'Richo' during Rammstein. He certainly has some interesting dance moves......

Yeah and Davey, the guy knows how to pull the ladies as well. When he wasn't showing off his awful air guitar he was sucking face with some girl.

Was great stuff to watch. Almost as entertaining as Rammstein.

If there was ever any doubt about his legendary status, there is NOT now.

Finally got round to listening to this... so much more average than Universes. Consistent but no amazing songs. The Gap and Circles easily my favourites. Guitar work is mostly boring except in a few tracks and some of the melodies sound familiar and like many other that have been on mainstream radio in recent times. Probably their worst album thus far IMO.

I can't argue with any of that unfortunately. Album has done a lot for their career though.

That's odd, I really like this. Not as much as Universes, but Wild At Heart all the way to If This Ship Sinks is pure gold, save for Waiting For The Wolves (which fucking sucks). I'm not a fan of the first half, but it was the same with Universes. Oh well, pretty good album all up.

Still an awesome album, but just some songs shit me now (Death Valley, Plans).

Those two are so god damn awful it's almost blasphemous. In The Veins Of Death Valley is one of the most annoying songs ever.

You hate 3-4 songs on the album yet its a 4? Wow :P. Yeah BOT certainly achieved mainstream success through this album.. though not due to the album, rather the single 'Plans'. At Big Day Out, the crowd didn't seem to have a clue of any of the other songs they were playing, and once they played 'Plans', most moved on to another act instead.

Yeah, though the rest are so goddamn good. It still warrants a 4. Plus, Kenny's vocals have a tendency to be completely perfect, as they are on here.

Can't believe they are touring yet again, even if it's smaller venues this time.

Yeah they're hard workers, no doubt about it. I dream of being able to tour that much and to that many people.

Won't have a band like Silversun Pickups as supports this time though.

Because you don't like SP, or because the focus will be on BoT?

Not sure if ill go this time around. They're playing at The Forum in Melbourne which isn't even 'intimate' and still charging $60 with crap supports.
