ah Nick, the s/t is my second-favorite from Deftones behind White Pony. Then Diamond Eyes and then it's sort of a toss-up, depending on my mood. I really like Adrenaline though.

I like Adrenaline as well. Isn't it great that there's a band where you really can't say anything bad about any of their releases?

Adrenaline might be the least listened to out of their catalog for me, but it's till enjoyable. That says something.

I dunno, it's maybe my least listened to of the last year or two, but if you're looking at my entire decade plus of listening to this band, Adrenaline is probably second only to White Pony in total plays.

I might agree with you, Blake, just because it's been out longer.

well, yeah, that's definitely part of it. but it was my favorite album by them for a long time, even after White Pony initially came out. White Pony eventually became my favorite, but I love the shit out of Adrenaline. Maybe it had something to do with it being my first Deftones album, maybe not. But it's got sentimental and nostalgic value for me, quite a bit of it.

Me too man. I almost wore that cd out one year. It was almost all I listened to.

Ironically my first encounter with 'Tones was with WP ... then I listened to all the rest up to SnW then Adrenaline after.



SnW is still my favorite.

See, my first encounter with the Deftones was Around the Fur(Fucking Be Quiet and Drive caught me and never let go), and then I moved onto Adrenaline(White Pony wasn't out yet). So I kinda look at ATF being my nostalgic listen for them

Fuck no. Be Quiet and Drive is, with the haunting vocals and the beautiful melodies to accompany them. It's mesmerizing.
