I almost came in my pants when Thibodeau was talking about getting Deng to take a step back to hit the corner three instead of the long two. SO much more efficient and something I've been begging for one of our coaches to do for years.

yeah but there are also rumors we're going to move Taj Gibson and Luol Deng for Joe Johnson in a S&T which would leave us with enough room for LBJ and Bosh still.
Rose + Joe Johnson + LBJ + Bosh + Noah = borderline fucking Dream Team.
all of Miami right now:

haha, the reaction from Cavs fans is hilarious.

also, this is a pretty good representation of what I look like right now:

Havnet payed much attention to the offseason but this Miami talk is giving me a boner.
|
| |
if you were LeBron, and these were your three pitches, which would you go for:
Miami: hey Bron, you can bring anyone you want to play with Wade, Beasley and Chalmers
New York: hey Bron, you can bring anyone you want to play with Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Eddy Curry
Chicago: hey Bron, you can bring anyone you want to play with Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Luol Deng
I'd have to say Chicago wins that one by quite a large margin.
|
| |
I'm going to jump on the Bulls bandwagon right now.
|
| |
Lol Joakim Noah.
|
| |
hey Joakim Noah's a top 5 center in the NBA, and was 2nd in the league in rebounding before he got hurt last year.
There aren't many centers in the past 20 years who were a legit 7 feet tall, could give you 15 and 15 on any given night AND dribble and pass like a wing player. Joakim also runs the floor better than any C in the league, which is key if you're playing with Derrick Rose and LeBron James.
|
| |
eh, Miami can add another player on top of LeBron if they were to get him, but it would have to be someone like David Lee, Al Harrington, Rudy Gay etc. not a guy who would make the max ($17 mil per year).
However, Chicago (if they just clear up $900,000 more in cap space -- not hard to do between Taj Gibson and James Johnson) can add any two FAs that they want.
So, essentially, you're right MJ.

IT'S OVER GUYS!! THE ONLY BASKETBALL ANYONE'S GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT IS HEAT BASKETBALL!!!

if Lebron goes to Chicago then i think that the Heat-Bulls rivalry will be awesome again, because both those teams would be powerhouses. if the Heat don't get Lebron they'll still find plenty of other talent with all that money they have
|
| |
From what I've read over the last 24 hours, it doesn't look like he's going to Chicago. Apparently the meeting between him and the team didn't go as well as the Bull's PR office said.

Gene Wilder's already toasting to the Miami Thrice
|
| |
i hate to say it, but Hans is probably right that he's staying in Cleveland. the Eastern Conference would despair
|
| |
Him staying would be boring as fuck.
|
| |
That's why I said he should spend the first 59 1/2 minutes talking about other teams tonight, and then just say "I'm signing with the Clippers" and then just get up and leave. You realize what would happen after that? The apocalypse
|
| |
Lol, it would be somewhat believeable if Donald Sterling wasn't such a fucking prick/incompetant. Lebron could win on the Clippers right now.
|
| |
I don't know about that. Blake Griffin's another year away(if he doesn't get injured again), Baron Davis is a ballhog and is starting down the hill of his career, and then there's.....?
|
| |
And then theres......................Chris Kaman!
