Agreed hard. In Blood Has Been Shed he was also amazing.

Let me think... Killswitch is basically a pillar of metalcore, Frontside would be the Polish KE, in Germany it would probably be Caliban or Heaven Shall Burn... how about other national scenes?

Heaven Shall Burn are sick, lots of good albums.

Frontside have bangers too. But I wonder if there's, say, a Japanese Killswitch Engage? A Romanian one? Swedish? Gothenburg had a huge influence on the genre, but maybe they have some purely metalcore equivalent as well.

Soilwork is close? Idk never really listened to them, I feel like they were on some of those NWOAHM tours back in the day

You could go with Soilwork. I may not be correct but I don't really know of many, if any metalcore bands out of Sweden.
