'Creep' really is an all-timer of a bad song

Couple solid bops here. Namely 'I Can't', 'Prove Yourself', and 'Stop Whispering'. I regularly return to those. They each are better than about half the songs on THE BENDS lol.

the bookend duos are great but damn most of this is so lame

If it was 3 o’clock in the morning and someone suggested a ‘waffle house’ I’d be doing the killing.
Fucking waffles. Absolute nonsense.

Huh someone bumped a bunch of Radiohead. It wasn't me! I like this album. This and the Bends would be the last time Thom wrote about himself (this much) The later stuff is so abstract or based on a third person view of the world. It's quaint to hear Thom talk about a failed relationship or other stuff. Plus the music still soars at time.

There is a lot more to this album than "Creep" and you will hear it if you listen to the album.

Pass the ripcord. I'll jump.

Blow Out is really good agreed, I completely forgot about that one. Honestly, if they’d released it today as their “comeback single”, I’d be quite hyped.

Even though I try I can't. Anyone can Play Guitar, my asss!!!! Heh I thought I had this on my phone. I definitely have the album. I like this album even though I know Thom Yorke wants to pretend it never happened, I think this time during this and the Bends a lot of B-sides was really good.

taken out of context with the rest of the bands discog you realize that this is a solid 90s alt rock album through and through
|

Blow Out is a gem, could easily fit into one of their later albums
