I really love this album, however it took me a while to get into it. It was pretty difficult to get used to the abrasive sound, but I began to love it and makes me want to explore more of Sonic Youth's discography (I have heard Sister and Goo). Anyone here love Candle? I get really excited every time I hear it...

I found this really easy to get into, but then again I heard Goo, EVOL, Sonic Nurse and Sister first.

YES!!! Candle is awesome, whole lotta feels on that track. Probably top 5 material

Really? because she's amazing on the only two albums I've heard (Daydream and Goo) so if you're right they sound amazing.

She's solid on Goo too, but her tracks on EVOL are in another league. Bad Moon isn't quite as strong, but if you count Flower and love Ghost Bitch as much as I do it's still killer

I'm probably listening to Sister next Sonic Youth wise though honestly.

If you want a quick Kim rampage, check out Shadow of a Doubt, Pattern Recognition, Pacific Coast Highway, Starpower, Shaking Hell, Ghost Bitch and Heather Angel. The first four will make you love her even more and the last three will fuck you up ;]

Oh yeah, Sister is fantastic! It's my second fave (after EVOL) and will blow your mind, but it's basically Thurston's album

I could be in the minority but I find Rain King to be a underrated track, I really love Steve's drumming on that track as well as the guitars

Murray Street is good, basically A Thousand Leaves Pt. 2. Anyone who likes SY's alternative rock side is bound to dig it.
