Bo Rhap is godawful and ubiquitous and I’ve been conscious of it for at least 30 years so this is a long lasting hot take buds.
Rather I’d like to know how after 500 listens and many multiple uses in adverts, comedy sketches and karaoke murders how anyone could listen to it for fun? That’s the mystery.
The opening is typical hammy cod opera from Freddie and it just flops about before a riff I don’t particularly enjoy, that passed into the realms of ‘old hat’ many decades ago, comes in and so what? It’s not a song that moves me at all. It’s a cheese ball.

I mean other than ‘Paranoid Android’ that straps on a dildo and gets to work on it before OD’ing on paranoia inducing pills and sadness, I can’t think of much else I like that has much in common with it - so surprised anyone is surprised I don’t like a cheesy cod operatic ballad with the Wayne’s World approved head banger riff cutting in? It’s Bo Rhap - we all know it, we’re all bored to death by it lol
