Son goes into mums room worried because she is in a right state. It dawns on son that his mum has suffered a miscarriage and son literally flushes the remanents of what would be his brother or sister down the bog.
Writes Bodies.
Fake.

they are authentic, because they were one of the first punk bands with this type of attitude, the hardcore now are fitting a mold, the pistols made the mold
I give it a 4 because of the historical significance, otherwise it is an ok album

I wouldn't rate an album a classic just because it was only influential. I might as well scrap my other ratings. It's just a memorable album for me that still holds up from way back when I first heard it. Yeah, Sex Pistols Authentic; you heard it right bud. Every Punk band you listen to after took a piece from this whether or not you like it.

Every? Debatable, but a large majority of them; totally. Trace the Roots, a lot of it comes back to here. That doesn't mean you have to like it, but to shrug it off as bull shit doesn't seem right to me.

Sped up the Spunk renditions of these songs to match the original and it's an even bigger improvement. Apparently there was something up when the songs used for Spunk when they were transferred from the original tapes making them slower than they should

Lydon has lost all respect from me as a historical punk figure; The praise that he is conjuring up for Trump makes the entirety of his existence feel unauthentic, saying Trump is anti-establishment and all... What a tool. Trump IS quintessentially the establishment.

I mean Lyndon 40 years later is obviously going to be a different person
|
| |
His thoughts on Trump have also fluctuated a lot during the last YEAR though. Just a few months, he was complaining about the dude being a loonie, now he's saying he'd be friends with Trump.

Lydon is an almighty bellend at times, at others he is nothing but a rational speaker of truth who doesn't give the first fuck.
Everyones thoughts fluctuate it's what makes us human unlike you indoctrinatied brainwashed brat bastards.
|
| |
This is not him speaking truth, it his him losing the ethos that he built his career off.

He wanted to deconstruct the old order. It could be argued either way tbh.
|
| |
Everyone fluctuates, yes, and this is natural and what makes people their own person, but I am now inclined personally to dismiss Lydon, this shit just makes him come across as a cunt. I'm not going to respect a man so comfortable with complacency, shameless enough to throw away his entire ethos and legacy down the drain.
