"A lot of times my problem is I'm so eager to sing along with catchy bands like Lostprophets that I just end up making up most of it up as I sing along before I've had a chance to learn it by heart haha"

So it's not only me... Sooooo true. :-)

I'm just wondering; why is the artwork used here the Japanese edition one?

Fringe related reasons.

I think this cover was used down in Oz also. The UK/US cover is boring as hell anyway.

Excellent Album, all songs are really solid. A return to more heavy roots compared to their previous poppy (but still very solid in my opinion) album. I really respect Lostprophets because they are one of the few bands that I actually really enjoy each release despite each of the albums being rather different. Excellent review, very thorough and well thought out.

Thanks deathtoaji. And for the most part, I agree with all your comments.

Unsure if it will stay there for me, but I've got about 3-4 albums ranked around the same at the moment. I suppose I'll have to re-listen to them. So much music, so little time.

Their previous efforts are LAUGHABLE compared to this. This is in a way their first real album. I just can't understand what their best songs (sunshine and AC Ricochet) are doing in the Japanese version as bonus tracks??

Also it shows that they've been hanging out alot with Nine inch nails. Aside from the huge improvement The Light sounds like something from "With Teeth"
