kinda the opposite for me wild for a long time now, when i hear metallica its like how were these guys ever the #1, leads are boring, rhythm section boring drumming has zero flair the real strengths are song structure production lyrics i guess and occasionally strong riffs
beach house tho is good example, i feel like they are a bit tired but occasionally when i throw on bloom its like THIS IS THE BEST MUSIC EVER I AM IN HEAVEN WHY DID I STOP LISTENING TO THIS REGULARLY
